Since childhood many have learned about the existence of many magical places, full of legends, great stories or characters of unprecedented courage. Lately, the media has been flooded with screenings of entertainment or as documentation in which different legendary locations have been recreated in the trying of finding their location.
But from where sprang such stories and how they managed to be so popular? Transmitted by word or through ancient writings, legends of mythical places have fascinated the mankind since the earliest times.
Such a location that has fascinated the entire world is Agartha. Also known as the Agarta and Agarti, the world dates from 1900, when a French occultist named Alexandre Saint Yves d’Alveydre wrote two books that showed where the town was in the depths of the earth and how it is built.

Among the mythical locations that fascinate the mankind for centuries is Avalon or the realm near Albion that serves as a tomb for King Arthur, legend’s wholeness main pawn in the British Isles in a kingdom.
Avalon, the island of legend who in some stories is where Arthur chose to take his old age or where he was buried by Merlin is also the place where the legendary sword Excalibur porvine. Since the XII century, it was believed that this mythical location , full of magical energies, is in Glastonbury, but Camelot, the place that was the center of the kingdom built by King Arthur in legends, doesn’t have a well-defined location. The whole mystery of Avalon dates back to twelve century and became popular in France.
Elysian Plains is one of the most enigmatic, mythological places in the world, which constitute the heaven in the Greek mythology. Here were coming, according to legends, warriors, virtuous and heroes.

In search of such riches, europeans conquered the americas. El Dorado is still a mystery and is sought everywhere by the adventurous who hope that the legend is true and that will get enrich overnight.
Shambhala is a mythical place whose legend was born in Central Asia. According to Buddhist beliefs, this is where get the ones who know the Buddha’s enlightenment, as a place of love, goodness and meditation. It says that Shambhala would be somewhere deep in the Himalayas or in the Gobi desert, while others believe it is somewhere in Nepal.
Among the mythical places that the world is amazed even today, is Shangri La . This mystical location is described as a beautiful valley full of vegetation, situated at the foot of the Kunlun Mountains.

People could come into this world only through a journey of hard and heavy or if the fairies of this realm is calling them.
